If I Had a Boat

We caught the early bus from Ston to Dubrovnik. We found our boat, Princess Aloha, dropped off our bags and took a local bus into the old town. Old town Dubrovnik is walled and you enter and exit by gates, arched openings in the walls. And there were a lot of tourists mostly entering the walls. It was packed. You had to go into the back streets to get away from the crowds and get any space to yourself. We stumbled upon the stairway that was used for Cersei's walk of shame.

I tried to convince Mary to strip and reenact Cersei's walk but she wouldn't go for it even after her glass of wine which we had at a little restaurant called Kopun. Mary wen t back for her grilled squid and I had their mussels, buzara style.

We will be coming back here after our cruise so we decided to scope out the place we'll be staying, Villa Odak. We walked high above the seaside with beautiful views until we got to our place, passing by Branje Beach.

We took the bus back to our boat for a welcome, meet the crew session and they supplied a "snack" prepared by Nadja. Our captain is Captain Gojo (GO-yo). There are only 23 passengers in total, most of them Canadians. Tomorrow we start with a tour of Dubrovnik then off to the island of Korcula.
