We walked from the train station to the bridge where we started down to get some good shots. Mary got to the first look-out then headed back to scope out the old town and shop. I continued down over some interesting terrain but never was able to get to the very bottom. But I did get some good pictures and met up with a very friendly worker who spoke no English. I think he was telling me about how bad it is in Spain for work. He then wanted to show me something and led me into this dark archway....being the paranoid I am I started thinking "What am I getting into? Is this some homeless gypsy leading me into his hideaway?" But, no. He just wanted to show me the heavy pack with all the tools that they made him pack up and down the gorge. He then showed me a good shot for a picture, we shook hands with an "adios" - "gracias" and I was on my way.
Mary and I then did the tour of the bull ring, hiked back to the station and caught the train back to Malaga and then back to Benalmadena. We walked back along the beach and retired to our balcony with a baguette, wine and the moon.
Hopefully the weather has changed for our last two days. Easy day at the pool tomorrow.
Buenos noches.
