St. Remy
Today we did a day trip to St. Remy by bus. Only 6€20 each way for the two of us. We took in the market, hiked up to the Roman ruins of Glanum and visited St. Paul de Mausole, the monastery and asylum that van Gogh checked himself into, and where he did a lot of his famous paintings (close to a hundred and fifty paintings while he was there). It was a very hot day, well in the thirties. On our return to Avignon we ate at Le Cave du Theatre.
Two more full days in Avignon until we're off to Nice, that is if the trains are running again by then.
