Things went well on the flight - quite uneventful. Caught the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station and then found our way to our hotel. Cleaned up a bit and then off to our most common activity when traveling...walking. First we caught the Underground at Queensway Station and took it to the St. Paul's stop, thinking we could see the cathedral...no, luck. Probably the only 2 people to not find the large dome. We saw it later from Waterloo Bridge. We also saw the Parliament Buildings, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and number 10 Downing Street (heavily armed guards right outside). Went for a fish and chip dinner at Albert's and caught the Underground back to Notting Hill Gate from which we walked "home". Turning in early to attempt to catch up on some sleep. A very cold wind here. Will have to buy some extra clothes for tomorrow night's outdoor performance at the Globe Theatre.
Take care.

Have the crowds of the Royal Wedding left? We had visions of you with your new shoes Mary, trying to elbow through the crowds. Happy travels in London. A conservative majority ici a Canada!
