Today we had a slow start, Mary was even able to read and have her coffee in bed. Later we walked the streets looking for a lavarie and then went off to the local market to look around and buy some olives, a baguette and a tartalette provencale for lunch. Later we walked back and did our laundry with the help of a local who insisted on letting us use her soap. So much for the snobby French, we've had nothing but good encounters with them when asking for help. We waited for our laundry in the square and had a cold beer.
After an afternoon nap we headed out for our first attempt at haute cuisine. We went to the "Le Brigadier du Theatre" restaurant where we had the full menu Provencale. C'est tres bon!
Bon soir.
