It's been a long day already and we haven't even left the Charles de Gaulle airport. We are waiting for our train to Lyon which will get us to that city around 7:00 this evening. I obviously needed to study my French a lot more before coming to France. So far, the only I've said is mercy, a number of times. Mary is madly poring through her Rick Steves' French book so I'm sure she'll pass her knowledge on to me.
Once in Lyon we struggled to find our hotel. Later we went out for dinner at the Restaurant des Iles and had an excellent meal with some tres Bon vin rose.
No pics today....I'll do better tomorrow.
