Last Day in London

Another full day. We always seem to start the day with a plan and then get distracted by something that catches our attention and interest. Today we started out for the London Eye and got distracted by Hyde Park, where we walked along the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Path all the way to the
Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain. From there we set out searching for an underground station to help us in our quest for the London Eye. Alas, we were, once again, distracted by Harrod's, a department store taken to the nth degree. We finally grabbed a ride and realized that it would take us in the vicinity of Tower Bridge. So, to the bridge!
Soon after we finally made our way to the "Eye", fought our way through multiple school groups and eventually made it to the attraction, with a bit of trepidation from one of our party. A quick glance at Buckingham Palace, a double-decker bus ride to a pub for some meat pies and beer, bit of a clean up and then on to "Billy Elliot". Excellent.
Off to Lyon via Paris early tomorrow. And now to bed, perchance to sleep.
Adieu.
