Are You Ready For Some Football

We headed down to the Lava Lava Beach Club to watch the Seahawk game.  We got there early so we took a wander along the beach.

We were able to get seats right at the bar with Johnny the bartender taking good care of us.  We each started with a Mai Tai, after all it was 12:00 in Terrace, right?  For the first part of the game there were a lot of groans and sighs from the crowd, mostly Seahawk fans.  Luckily we had a nice view for the first 3 quarters of the game.

But luckily the Seahawks came back for a fantastic finish.  The bar erupted and the few Packer paid up and slinked out of the bar.  We're hoping we can get the same seats for the Super Bowl.

After the game we strolled down the beach to see the first turtles of our trip.

We went and spent a couple hours at our old faithful beach, Beach 69.  Then returned home for a dinner  of pu pus with the owners, Jennifer and Tom.  We had grilled eggplant with mozzarella and pesto fillings and sprinkled with Parmesan.  Then Jennifer made a ahi and Maui onion pizza with a garlic cream sauce.  Both excellent.  We ate our meal on their lanai watching the sun set.
