After our visit Mary found her gelato store, Gelarto Rosa, where she bought her rose shaped gelato and we sat in the sun sharing it.
From there we walked to the parliament buildings for a short 30 minute tour. This building is amazing on the outside but unbelievable inside from the gold leaf ceilings to the gold plated cigar holders. I'll post a picture of the Senators' meeting room.
From there we walked over to the Jewish synagogue and viewed the WW II memorial tree in the garden. It is a tree made of metal rods with silver leaves giving a name of a victim of the Nazis.
Later we found the Gerloczy Cafe and has quiche with a little rose wine. We went home for a short rest and then jumped on the metro ( yes we made sure to have the proper tickets both ways...but of course no one checked!) and made our way to the Szechenyi Baths for a relaxing end to the day. We soaked in the light of the full moon. Tomorrow is our last day in Budapest.

Rose gelato, yum! It looks cool there. I am looking at my forecast for next week and thinking I am glad I am bringing a few warm clothes.
