Last Days in Cork

Last couple of days we visited lots of castles. First, Blarney Castle, where I kissed the stone but also left blood when I scraped my forehead on the stone trying to contort by body to kiss it. Still no gift of the gab. We also visited the Rock of Cashel and Cahir Castle. Today we're off to Port McGee through Killarney and on Wednesday we'll try for the island of Skellig Michel, although the weather doesn't look too promising.
I tried my first stout, Murphy's, in honour of Ron.
Happy Birthday, Lorna! Hopefully you have a great day!

K & M
This is the heron that is right across the street from our B & B, the Avondale's logo. Dolores and John, the hosts have been great. If you get to Cork be sure to stay. Mary and I are going to miss our chats and tea with them. We're planning a get together in Vegas.
