Gap of Dunloe

We've had a grand day in Killarney. Our B & B is very nice and Toni, the owner, is making quite a production about finally meeting Mary Robinson, Ireland's one time president.

We did a tour where we were dropped off at Kate Kearney's Cottage and then set off for an 11 km hike through the Gap of Dunloe. We walked on our own and were able to take our time and enjoy the views. After our hike we got in a boat and were taken through the lakes of Killarney where we got to see Inis Fallon Abbey and Ross Castle.
A very enjoyable day. Tomorrow we're off to Dublin for the night and then on to Belfast for four days.
