We left Vancouver at 16:00 and after after a cramped, baby filled, sick passenger, 9 hour flight we landed in Amsterdam. We're sitting in the most comfortable chairs we could find in a Starbucks, stretching our legs out as for as we can. We're waiting for our flight to Dublin, which leaves at 13:30. Neither of us were able to sleep on the flight so this could end up being an interesting day. No free Internet in the airport so I will post the blog as soon as I get some.
We've had a great day and a half in Kilkenny. Decided it was more important to experience Irish pubs rather than sleep, so we didn't get any sleep for the first 39 hours! We've had a bodhran drum lesson and were present at a lively girls' grad party, including a live band, at a Kilkenny pub called Paris Texas.
